Rinkurou kiln

Japanese Chinese Engrish  Reservation

At the westernmost tip of the Japanese archipelago, in the town of Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, lies the Rinkurou Kiln. We have been crafting pottery since the 17th Century, and during the Edo period, Rinkurou Kiln played a pivotal role in the flourishing of 'Ko-Imari,' a style known for its elegance and beauty. Today, we continue to carry on the legacy of this renowned craftsmanship by producing faithful reproductions of Ko-Imari ware, admired as masterpieces and treasured in modern times.
Although the term 'reproduction' is used, recreating the exceptional techniques of that time with a modern touch requires an unimaginable amount of time and effort. After perfecting this process, it is with great pride that we are able to provide products of the highest quality to our valued customers. Moving forward, we remain committed to our mission of passing on the rich history and timeless charm of Ko-Imari to future generations.
